In a 2022 interview with W Magazine, Kristen Stewart opened up about her accidental meeting with Neve Campbell in a restaurant. While Stewart had always admired the actress as Sidney Prescott in the ‘Scream‘ franchise, she found that meeting her in person was a different experience.

“I saw Neve Campbell in a restaurant the other day, and I looked over my shoulder and did this thing that I hate when people do to me, where they look and then snap back and pretend they didn’t see or something,” Stewart confessed.
Despite the fact that she’s used to such behavior from fans around her, Stewart admitted she always wished people would come over instead of acting like they hadn’t noticed her. Here, she wasn’t able to muster enough courage to go over to Campbell right away.
“No way,” Stewart told her friend, who encouraged her to approach Campbell. At last, the actress came over to Campbell, who offered her and her friend a chance to stay for a chat. Reflecting on the experience, Stewart realized that genuine admiration for someone can leave you captivated in their presence.
“It’s funny who actually starstrikes you; It’s never who you expect,” Stewart said. “It’s a physical thing; maybe you love a musician, maybe you love an actor so much, but you see them, and you’re like, ‘Yeah, cool. That’s them. They’re a person.’”
However, Campbell seemed to be one of the few people who left the ‘Spencer’ star without any words. Meanwhile, Stewart’s fun confession isn’t surprising as she is rarely shy about telling the public whom she admires.
