Like all of us, superstar Jackie Chan also has a favorite superhero. And the kung-fu genius wants to portray his favorite superhero on the big screen. So who is his favorite superhero? Well, it is none other than Iron Man.

“I really want to play Iron Man, but I don’t think the audiences want to see me as Iron Man,” Chan said. “Anyway, nobody pays me big money to make this kind of movie. I love Iron Man and this kind of movie, but no one hires me. Fools!” Jackie Chan seems very upset with this fact. But will Marvel and fans accept him in the role of the ‘billionaire playboy philanthropist‘?

Right now, no such offers have come up from Marvel for Mr Chan. Jackie Chan made his wishes known about playing Iron Man in an interview. However, it is unknown whether Marvel heard them or not.

Replacing Robert Drowney Jr as Iron Man is a very difficult task. He left an indelible mark with his portrayal of the character. Viewers will definitely have a hard time seeing anybody else in the role. However, Jackie Chan said he wanted to do things other than just action movies.

“I didn’t say I retired; what I said when I was making Chinese Zodiac was that it would be my last big action movie, and obviously, that turned out not to be true,” Chan said in an interview. He added, “No one wants to pay me the big money to play in sci-fi movies. Everyone wants to see me do action.”

Jackie Chan further said, “But I have to tell my audience, sometimes I might use a stunt double now, you might see some green screen, forgive me because I’m not young anymore.”
