“Have we met?”: Jennifer Aniston Pretends To Have Forgotten David Schwimmer In Uber Eats Ad
The star-studded commercial starts with Aniston graciously accepting an Uber Eats delivery, followed by a playful exchange with her forgetful assistant.
“I didn’t know you can get all this stuff on Uber Eats. I gotta remember that,” the assistant tells the actress, to which Aniston cheekily responds, “Well, you know what they say, in order to remember something, you got to forget something else. Make a little room.”
Cue the entrance of David Schwimmer, her former ‘Friends‘ co-star who enters the scene with excitement. But Aniston pretends not to recognize him, leading to a back-and-forth between the two.
As Schwimmer approaches to hug her with an evident excitement, she resists it while clutching to her grocery bag. “Have we met?” she asks. “Give me a hint.”
Schwimmer looks stunned as he replies, “[We] worked together for 10 years.” “10 years?” Aniston asks as she pretends to remember him, “You were great.”
“You still don’t know, do ya?” Schwimmer asks. “I don’t,” the actress says before walking away and muttering, “Like I’d forget ten years of my life.”
The commercial wraps up with Schwimmer saying to himself, “I hate this town,” as he watches Aniston walk away.
