Jonathan Majors has been under fire since was found guilty on account of assault of his then girlfriend Grace Jabbari in December 2023. After his conviction, the star has received heavy backlash from the industry as well as his fans. The repercussions made him lose many roles in some acclaimed projects.

Jonathan Majors Named As Recipient Of Perseverance Award
The Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards are highly revered accolades that celebrate the accomplishments and contributions from the Black community to the fields of music, film, media, and politics. However, Jonathan Majors receiving it amid the hot controversy over his legal battle has made many question its authenticity.

Majors made headlines last year after he was convicted recently for assaulting his former girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The conviction also led Marvel to drop him as Kang from ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘. The actor was arrested in March 2023 on charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment.
Other than Majors, rapper Fat Joe will also be honored with the Culture Award, and Cardi B with the Inspiration Award.

Jonathan Majors To Complete A 52-week In-Person Intervention Program
Jonathan Majors was embroiled in the lawsuit after his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari filed a report claiming Majors twisted her arm, struck her face, and shoved her into a car during a dispute. She was granted a full temporary protection order against him following the complaint. After the court hearing, Majors was found guilty.
However, the former Marvel star did not face any prison time. Instead, the judge ruled that the actor must complete a 52-week in-person batterer’s intervention program. Majors has also been ordered to continue his mental health therapy as well.
