Chris Rock Calls Will Smith “Ugly”
Will Smith slapping Chris Rock was easily the most talked about event of this year’s Oscar. Since then, the comedian has taken a dig at the ‘Ali‘ actor on various occasions.
The 57-year-old comedian-actor has been on a UK tour with Dave Chappelle. He was asked about the slap from Chappelle during a sold-out show at Liverpool’s M&S Arena.
According to a report from The Daily Mail, “Did that s–t hurt?” Chappelle queried. “Goddamn right … the motherf–ker hit me over a bullshit joke, the nicest joke I ever told,” Rock answered.
He continued, “Will did the impression of a perfect person for 30 years, and he ripped his mask off and showed us he was as ugly as the rest of us. Whatever the consequences are … I hope he doesn’t put his mask back on again and lets his real face breathe. I see myself in both men.”

Chris Will Not Be Hosting 2023 Oscar
It was recently reported that Chris will not be returning as a host for the 2023 Academy Awards ceremony. He talked about it in one of his comedy shows in Arizona.
He said the Academy asked him to return to host the ceremony for the third time. He has hosted the awards show twice, in 2005 and 2016.
During the show, Rock compared returning to host to returning to the scene of a crime; he referenced the O.J. Simpson murder trial. Simpson’s wife Nicole Brown Simpson had left a pair of eyeglasses at an Italian restaurant before she was murdered.
Rock said returning to the Oscars would be like asking Nicole Brown Simpson “to go back to the restaurant.”
The crowd kept chanting “Talk about it!” to which Chris responded, “He’s bigger than me,” He referenced Smith’s 2001 boxing film on Mohammed Ali. “The state of Nevada would not sanction a fight between me and Will Smith.”
