The ‘Cry Me A River‘ singer took a moment to talk about his recent arrest for driving while intoxicated during his Boston concert appearance. A fan recording showed Justin Timberlake joking about the event, saying, “So, uhhh, is there anyone here tonight that is driving?” The crowd went wild with applause, and he hastily clarified, “No, I’m just kidding.”

After this playful jab at himself, he continued to talk on a more serious note, saying, “Is there anyone here tonight, that it’s your first time here to the show? Is there anybody here that you’ve been to 1, 2, 3, maybe 4 of our shows?,” he said before adding, “For all of you that it’s your first time tonight — on a serious note — I hope that you feel the fellowship and the love.”

Justin Timberlake’s DWI Arrest
Justin Timberlake was arrested on June 18 and is said to have panicked throughout his one night there. Unaware of the singer’s identity, a young police official detained him and demanded that he take a breathalyser test, which the pop star declined.
Timberlake was pulled over on accusations of ignoring a stop sign and veering out of his lane. He also had hazy and red eyes and later failed a sobriety test. The 43-year-old later admitted to having one martini before deciding to get behind the wheel.
According to sources, it has “taken a toll on him, but he is trying to view it as a way to reset himself.” The insider also added that Timberlake is “feeling remorseful, ashamed, and humiliated, taking the situation seriously and acknowledging its potential impact on his family dynamic as a husband and father, as well as on his fans.”
