Once, Kanye West was an invincible and unstoppable force in the industry, but in recent years, his no-limits attitude has hampered him a lot. He has lost his fortune, relationships, industrial ties, and projects for spewing hate. It started with Paris Fashion Week 2022, where he introduced ‘White Lives Matter’ shirts. After that, he threatened to call “Def Con 3′ on the Jews and spread a hate campaign against them.
Due to Kanye West’s erratic behavior, many industry giants like Adidas, Balenciaga, and Vogue have cut ties with the ‘Donda’ rapper. Now, he is left with a plummeting fortune and a string of lawsuits. After Ye went off the radar, many of his ex-employees, workers, and companies like Gap filed several lawsuits against the rapper. Now, on top of them, a photographer, Michaela Efford, is suing Kanye West for illegally using a photograph of a Vogue editor to bully her on Instagram.

Kanye West Sued For Using An Image Without Permission For His Roast Session
In 2022, Ye was on a bullying spree. After Kim Kardashian announced her separation, he harassed her along with her family and ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson. He published their private chats on Instagram and even created a gruesome video to diss Pete. The rapper’s social media accounts were deactivated several times during the anti-Semitic rant phase and the ‘White Lives Matter’ incident.
Many industry people, including Bella Hadid and Pusha T, called out Kanye West for the Paris Fashion Week incident. Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, a contributing editor for Vogue, also criticized him, calling his fashion statement “dangerous” and “irresponsible.”
Ye lashed out on social media by sharing one of her pictures and saying that she is “not a fashion person” in a now-deleted post. However, Michaela Efford clicked on the picture that he posted on social media. As per TMZ, she is now suing the ‘Jesus Walks’ rapper for using the picture without her permission for his “roast session.” The photographer is not able to monetize the picture after Ye criticized it, and now she is asking for undisclosed damages over it.

Gap Is Also Suing The Rapper For $2 Million
Karma is hitting Kanye West harder! West terminated his 10-year deal with Gap after non-compliance with the contract. The critics forecast that the partnership would have brought in $1 billion for collaboration. However, they are suing Ye for making unspecified changes to a rental property in Los Angeles.
Art City Center sued Gap for making renovations like “erecting an exterior ramp in the east side parking lot; installing a tunnel in the lot; removing ceiling lights; building a wall; and nixing three bathrooms.” Now, Gap is pushing that blame on Ye by suing him for $2 million.
As per the lawsuit, Kanye West’s Yeezy did not have any approval for the changes made to the property. In the lawsuit, the brand stated, “By making and not repairing or restoring the foregoing alterations of the premises that [West] made without Gap’s participation or approval, [West] breached the strategic agreement and directly and proximately caused Gap to incur expenses to repair and restore the premises.”
