Kanye West has done more damage than good due to his recent actions. From his perspective, he was the messiah of the oppressed beings due in the country and industries dominated by the Jewish community. However, his actions have to be seen through the lens of the perpetuation of hate and the hate-mongering narrative against them. It all first started at home i.e., targeting his community. In October 2022, at the Paris Fashion Week, he introduced new Yeezy t-shirts which had ‘White Lives Matter’ printed on them.
This triggered the African American community and Ye faced a heavy backlash. Later, when he confronted Sean “Diddy” Combs, the rapper said that he will go “def con 3” on the Jewish community. This was the beginning of the end for the ‘Donda’ rapper. After constantly spewing hate against Jews with his anti-Semitic remarks, Kanye was ousted from the industry. The remarks tainted his brand and image along with financial loss. Now, his anti-Semitism also affected American society at large.

Kanye West’s Anti-Semitism Had A Fatal Lasting Effect
It took a long time to call out Kanye West for his erratic behavior. The consolidated efforts of the industry made it happen and the rapper got ousted from the industry. Ye has been making controversial statements since 2016.
He was also diagnosed with bipolarity. However, in 2022, West has been on a spree to spew hate against the Jews. He even made a racially charged statement at the Paris Fashion Week. Since then, he has been abandoned by many industry moguls like Balenciaga and Adidas.
Kanye even started his 2024 Presidential campaign which proved disastrous further hampering his brand and artistic legacy. However, he was not only the one to face the brunt of his actions.
The anti-Semitism has blazed the entire country and communities have been affected by it at institutional levels. The Anti-Defamation League(ADL) released a report about the effect of Kanye’s anti-Semitism triggering anti-Jewish sentiments on social media and other spaces. Since October 2022, there have been 30 anti-Semitism incidents reported. They include vandalism, hate speech, and harassment across State universities and different public places.

Kanye West Is Dropped By His Legal Firm
Not just social boycotts, but Ye also ensued in lawsuits due to his erratic behavior. In 2022, West was facing a copyright infringement lawsuit. He was sued for sampling ‘Move Your Body’ in ‘Donda’. Greenberg Traurig, a law firm in Florida, was representing him. However, the said law firm wanted to drop their client and wanted to submit papers to him.
On February 1st, 2023, the law firm severed ties with the rapper. The firm got in touch with Ye’s new attorneys who made it possible to reach him. Attorney Nina D. Boyajian, in the legal documents, informed about severing the ties with Kanye.
She said, “On January 18, 2023, an attorney based in California contacted my firm advising that he would be representing ‘Ye on some of his legal matters’. During the course of several emails and a phone call with this attorney, I requested that he coordinate personal service of the Order on Ye”.
Nina continued, “On February 1, 2023, the attorney referenced above emailed me the executed Certificate of Service attached hereto as Exhibit A. ‘I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States of America that the foregoing is true and correct’ “.
