Kanye West‘s credibility as a celebrity has dwindled in recent times due to his problematic behavior. He has lost business and the respect he had as a creative tour de force in the music and fashion industries. The downfall started in 2022, when he introduced Yeezy t-shirts with ‘White Lives Matter’ imprinted on them. Later, he hurt religious sentiments by threatening Jews. Before the fiasco, West released his last album in 2021, titled ‘Donda, to honor his mother.
Kanye West had a peculiar marketing strategy to release his long-awaited tenth studio album, ‘Donda.’ Instead of going the conventional way, Ye organized a mega-listening party, starting from his birthplace, Chicago. He held the first listening party at Soldier Field and erected a replica of his childhood home in Atlanta, near Lake Michigan. Now, the replica is on sale for fans to buy.
Kanye West’s Childhood Replica Home Is In A Chicago Warehouse Dismantled
The ‘Donda’ and ‘Donda 2’ listening parties were an immersive experience that Kanye West’s fans will remember for mortal eternity. The listening parties were a theatrical drama to let the audience be in the sonic world. There were many attractions, including Ye‘s peculiar fashion and guest stars like Alicia Keys, Jack Harlow, Da Baby, and others. But the highlight and constant during these listening events was the rapper’s childhood home replica.
Now, after two years of the album’s release and mega-listening events, the childhood home replica of West is listed for sale. TMZ talked to The Levy Recovery Group’s President, Jason Levy, about the replica.
Jason told the media outlet that the production company that erected the show approached him to sell the replica. It is sitting in a Chicago warehouse in dismantled condition. The bid for the house will begin in October 2023, and the person who wins the bid has to pay a certain amount to assemble the house again.

Atlanta Cancels ‘Kanye West Day’
During the listening parties, Kanye West attained a milestone in his career, with Atlanta declaring a day dedicated to him. On July 22, 2021, Ye was set to perform at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The stadium was packed with 42,000 attendees.
During the event, his late mother, Donda West, was honored with the introduction of the Dr. Find a West Meritorious Service Award. The city councilwoman at that time also conferred Ye with a plaque to declare a day dedicated to him.
However, in 2022, Ye displayed highly disappointing behavior with his explosive racial statements, including undermining the murder of George Floyd. The ex-councilwoman, Natalyn Archibong, who declared a day in his honor, wants to distance herself from Ye. She said, The July 2021 proclamation did not envision that in 2022, the artist formerly known as Kanye West would boldly make such ugly and hurtful statements.”
