    Keanu Reeves has appeared as the titular killer in ‘John Wick 4.’ The film has met with a mostly positive critical response and has become a massive box-office success in just a week’s time.

    According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Reeves’ character has been speaking less as the franchise progresses. He only says 380 words across 103 lines of dialogue in a 169-minute film.

    In the first installment, clocking in at 101 minutes, Mr. Reeves said a total of 484 words. With a run time of 169 minutes, the fourth movie pushes three hours but features just 380 words by Wick,” the report said.

    Chad Stahelski, the director and Reeves “stripped out roughly half the dialogue written for his character in the initial script.” His longest dialogue in the film is one sentence. “You and I left a good life behind a long time ago, my friend,” he says to his friend Shimazu Koji.

    On March 24, the film was released theatrically in the country and across the globe. It has been well-received by critics and audiences. It has an IMDb rating of 8.5 and a 95% approval rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website.

    In the opening weekend, the action flick minted $73.5 million in the US alone. It is the highest amount in the entire franchise. The film generated a total global collection of $137.5 million, with $64 million coming from the international markets.

    To prepare for his role, Reeves did three months long extensive training for the film’s stunt, which involves horse riding, fist fights, and gun fights.
