King Charles acceded to the throne to become the King of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. Since then, the 73-year-old Monarch has received criticism for his tantrums. Now he seems to do something that’s related to Prince Harry and Prince Andrew.
Reports suggest that Charles, who is the oldest person to assume the British throne, is planning to amend the law on who can fill in for him if he is gone. This includes cutting off Harry and Andrew as they are not active members of the Royal family. Let’s find out more about this.

King Charles Plans To Relieve Prince Harry And Prince Andrew Off Their Duties
After being the longest-serving heir apparent in British history, Charles has finally become the king of the United Kingdom. He is planning to make some changes to the Royal house.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the King will cut Harry, and Andrew as official stand-ins. “The move would see the Duke of York, the Duke of Sussex, and Princess Beatrice all relieved of their duties as official stand-ins for the sovereign, should he be indisposed,” the report said.
Under the 1937 Regency Act, the spouse of a monarch along with the adults in line can be called up as Counsellors of State on official business. Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry, and Prince Andrew filled these roles when Queen was alive.
Prince Harry, along with Meghan Markle, stepped down from royal life in 2020. Prince Andrew was removed from the membership after the allegations of sexual misconduct.
“It is believed that the King recognises the incongruity of having a trio of non-working Royals able to step into his shoes if he is abroad or incapacitated,” the source said.

Prince Harry and Prince William are having a difficult time spending so much time together since the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Both Harry and Williams were estranged for several years.
Their company has been “uncomfortable” for each other but “everybody is trying their best.” The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex appeared alongside their wives last week.
On Saturday, they also stood vigil alongside their cousins by the late monarch’s casket. A source said that their public appearances “take effort” and they know it is needed to show “solidarity.”
The Duke of Sussex and Meghan have had a problematic relationship with the royal family which led them to step down as its members in 2020. The two now live in the United States.
