Lady Gaga yet again amazed the cameras with her wardrobe when she recently attended the premiere of ‘Joker: Folie à Deux‘ at the TCL Chinese Theatre in L.A. on September 30. Gaga walked the carpet with co-star Joaquin Phoenix, in a stunning floor-length black Celine dress paired with a jeweled floral necklace.
While answering questions from the media, the singer-actor slipped in a hint about her future endeavors. The ‘Poker Face’ singer was explicitly giddy when asked if superhero films were on her radar. Here’s what she said.
Lady Gaga Likely To Take On Superhero Films In The Future
‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ premiere in Los Angeles was a busy affair and Lady Gaga was swamped with a flood of questions. However, one particular question did make the singer-actor eye sparkle with expectations.
Variety asked Gaga, “When will you do a full-on superhero movie?”. The singer simply replied with a demure smile and shrug, and swiftly strolled away, not denying the possibility.

She has tried her hand at several genres with the last being the crime thriller, ‘House of Gucci‘ where she played Patrizia Reggiani. Her performance as Reggiani was widely admired.
Therefore, it is not surprising that Gaga would like a taste of the thrilling superhero movies after portraying a DC comic character, Harley Quinn.
“It Was Really Special”: Lady Gaga Talks About Her Experience Singing With Joaquin Phoenix In ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’
Although the ‘Joker’ sequel has several musical numbers, Lady Gaga has dismissed all claims of the the film being a musical. Nonetheless, Joaquin Phoenix must have been flustered to sing in front of a high-achieving singer. However, Gaga revealed at the premiere that she enjoyed her experience singing with Phoenix.
She told Entertainment Tonight, “It was really fun to bring all of my experience to the table…I would say with Joaquin, reminding him that he can be just as raw with his vocals as he is with his acting. It was really special.”

Gaga also revealed her experience with Phoenix was very different from Bradley Cooper’s. The singer worked with Bradley back in 2018 for ‘A Star Is Born’.
She said, “I feel like my relationship with Bradley was completely different from Joaquin. But there was definitely a musical element in both of them. So it was really fun.” Gaga won a Grammy, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, and a BAFTA Award for her single ‘Shallow’ in ‘A Star Is Born’.
