Recently, Jada Pinkett Smith has been on a promotional drive for her memoir, ‘Worthy’. During interviews, Jada extensively talked about the Oscar Slap Gate, Chris Rock, and her marriage to Will Smith. She revealed that Will and she have been living separately since 2016, and they are navigating how to be in partnership.
Now, Will Smith, in an email, reacted to Jada Pinkett Smith’s memoir and realized that the actress is “more resilient, clever, and compassionate than he’d understood.” In an email to The New York Times for Jada’s profile, he confessed that her memoir woke him up. Smith shared what he learned from spending 26 years in marriage with Jada.
Will Smith wrote, “When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”
