“Load Of B******t”: Michael Caine Attacks Claims Of His Movie ‘Zulu’ Inspiring White Nationalism

Michael Caine is not tolerating any slander around his movies. The veteran British actor has blasted off against the claims that his film ‘Zulu‘ is responsible for inspiring white nationalism. It was recently flagged by an anti-terror study for being violently provocative.

This study belongs to a group called The Prevent Strategy. The group’s report has deemed ‘The Bridge on the River Kwai‘ and ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy‘ responsible for inciting extremist violence. The list also includes the BBBC’s television series ‘House of Cards.’

Michael Caine is expressing his displeasure about ‘Zulu as a ‘key text‘ for “white nationalists and supremacists.” He’s not taking any of this nonsense at face value, calling it “the biggest load of b******t I have ever heard.”

Directed by Cy Enfield, ‘Zulu‘ is an epic war film. The film shows the battle between 100 British soldiers and an army of 4000 mighty warriors from the Zulu nations in defense of Rorkes Drift during 1879. Michael Caine stars in the movie as Lieutenant Gonville Bromhead, an inexperienced military officer.

Michael Caine credits ‘Zulu‘ for his long and prosperous film career. The British actor landed after his portrayal of “a cockney bloke” in the play ‘Next Time I’ll Sing To You‘ left an impression on an American director. He has since been in more than 150 movies, including Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dark Knight‘ trilogy.

Michael Caine credits this moment as the beginning of his illustrious career, adding, “The director in the audience saw me and gave me a part in the film ‘Zulu’ as a posh officer. This made me a star and I never went back on the stage again.“. The actor, who skipped the Oscars, turned 90 on March 14, 2023, and has no plans of retiring.
