Lupita Nyong’o Pens Grief Is The “Price Of Love” On ‘Black Panther’ Co-star Chadwick Boseman’s 4th Death Anniversary

Lupita Nyong’o is sharing her heartfelt tributes for Chadwick Boseman, four years after the legendary actor’s death. The actress, who has worked with Boseman on the ‘Black Panther’ franchise had a few emotional words to say about him, as she posted a picture of her and Boseman on her Instagram.

In 2020, Boseman passed away due to colon cancer. On his fourth death anniversary, fans everywhere and colleagues celebrated the actor’s legacy. Here’s what Lupita Nyong’o wrote.

The ‘Black Panther‘ actress took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to Boseman, who meant a lot to her. Along with a few images of Chadwick, she wrote a heartfelt caption that read, “Grief never ends. But it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It’s the price of love.” -unknown. Remembering Chadwick Boseman. Forever.”

After a lengthy battle with colon cancer, the MCU actor passed away on August 28, 2020. As soon as word of the actor’s passing spread, fans all around the world and all his Marvel colleagues paid their respects. Boseman was honored in ‘Wakanda Forever‘, a sequel to Marvel Studios’ blockbuster film T’Challa, which followed the character’s aftermath. The decision was made by Marvel not to recast the legendary role of T’Challa.

Fans Around The World Pay Homage To Chadwick Boseman

Fans all over the world paid their respects to the actor in his fourth year of passing. Many shared clips and images of him on social media, lauding him for being a brilliant actor and leaving behind a great body of work.

James Gunn also took to Instagram to share images of Boseman and pay his respects. In the caption, he wrote, “Rest In Peace” along with a red heart.

Boseman left a strong screen legacy, with many powerful performances. His tragic loss will always be felt.
