According to People Magazine, Miley Cyrus was caught completely off guard by the complex relationship dynamic between her mother Tish, sister Noah, and Dominic Purcell. It was revealed that Noah Cyrus and Dominic Purcell had a casual relationship before Dominic’s marriage to Tish Cyrus.
A source close to the situation disclosed that Miley had “no idea at all” about the alleged tension. “Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic. No idea at all,” the source said of the singer while speaking to People.
Miley Cyrus has seemingly addressed the matter directly with her mother thereafter. According to the same source, Miley finds the situation “strange” but ultimately wants her mother to find happiness.

What Happened Between Noah, Tish And Dominic Purcell?
Last week, People disclosed that 24-year-old Noah Cyrus and 54-year-old Dominic Purcell had been seeing each other before the latter’s marriage to Noah’s mother Tish Cyrus.
“Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends-with-benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other, and then Tish started something up,” an insider said, adding that “Tish knew he had been seeing Noah.”
“Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about this before they got married, which allegedly left Noah “offended,” per an Entertainment Tonight source.
Us Weekly was the first to report the news, with an insider claiming, “Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started pursuing him. The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her.”
While the family members involved have yet to issue official statements regarding the recent developments, Noah Cyrus has been making headlines for her engagement to fashion designer Pinkus since June 2023.
Rumors of tension within the Cyrus family surfaced when Noah and her brother Braison were notably absent from their mother’s wedding ceremony to Dominic Purcell in August 2023.
