Morfydd Clark was born on March 17, 1989, in Sweden. At two, Clark and her family moved to Cardiff, Wales. She speaks English, Welsh, and a bit of Spanish. She had to leave school at the age of 16, as she was struggling with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and dyslexia. The actress trained with the British Youth Music Theatre to participate in their 2009 production. She also studied at the Drama Centre London and the National Youth Theatre of Wales.
She began her professional journey by playing the lead in Blodeuwedd with the Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru. Clark played Juliet in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ at The Crucible Theatre. She performed in ‘Violence and Son and Les Liaisons Dangereuses‘ at the Royal Court. Her feature film debut was in 2014 through her movie, ‘Madame Bovary‘.
