Nicole Kidman appears to have pushed herself to the limit while filming Margo’s Got Money Troubles, with the intense shoot reportedly landing her in intensive care. The 58-year-old stars as Lace, a former professional wrestler, and is fully committed to the physical demands of the role during a particularly grueling wrestling scene.
Kidman made her first appearance as the character in the April 22 episode, but the dedication came at a cost. Her co-star Nick Offerman later told PEOPLE that the demanding sequence ultimately led to her being rushed to the hospital after filming.

During the conversation, Nick Offerman described how the cast was preparing for a physically demanding day on set, with several performers gearing up to execute real wrestling sequences.
He said, “We’re there in the morning, we’re getting warmed up, some of us are going to be performing some actual wrestling, and so we have our doubles, we have people we’re working with.”
He went on to reveal that the team was initially told Nicole Kidman might not make it due to illness. “And the word comes in that Nicole has the flu, and we might not get Nicole today. And we’re like, ‘Oh no, that’s such a bummer, because we only have the one day that we’ve built this whole circus for'”.
Despite being seriously unwell, Kidman still showed up and pushed through the demanding shoot, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved. “She was so pale, shaken. She just had the flu really so bad. She showed up and made sure that we got every shot of her, total superhero style, did everything we needed to so that we did not lose one scrap of what we needed for her character.”

Following the shoot, Kidman was taken to the hospital to receive an IV, underscoring just how much she had pushed herself. Offerman also noted that she had undergone training ahead of filming and expressed deep respect for her commitment, highlighting the level of dedication she brought to the role.
