Though Pedro Pascal has a busy schedule ahead of him for several months, the actor is seemingly ready to add another project to his busy schedule. And the offer for a hit show came to him during the recent Critics Choice Awards, which he gladly accepted.
During the Critics Choice Awards red carpet show, the stars and executive producers of ‘The Morning Show’, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon were talking to KTLA anchors Sam Rubin and Jessica Holmes when they noticed Pedro Pascal’s arm sling. The two joked about how soft his arm sling was as he stood nearby.
Soon, Pascal also approached the mic but tactfully avoided discussing his sling that he was also spotted wearing during the Golden Globes. The actor redirected the conversation to admire ‘The Morning Show’.

Aniston and Witherspoon wasted no time in asking Pascal if he would be interested in joining the cast. “Do you want to be on it?” Aniston asked. Witherspoon followed up by asking if he’s “avail” for next season. But she suddenly had a moment of realization the next second. “Wait, we actually do have a really good part for him,” Witherspoon said, leaning over to Aniston. Aniston too gasped in agreement.
“Pitch it to me now,” Pascal responded as he looked clearly excited about it. The trio playfully suggested his character could have romantic relationships with both leading ladies, sliding another tinge of humor. Pascal also agreed. “I sleep with everyone on the show. I’m in. All right, I’ll be waiting to hear from my agents.”
‘The Morning Show’ is Apple TV+ drama series, featuring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell in the leading roles. Inspired by Brian Stelter’s book ‘Top of the Morning’, the show explores the characters and culture behind a morning news program. The second season of the show premiered in September 2021, with a third season following in September 2023. Apple renewed the series for a fourth season ahead of the third season’s premiere on May 1, 2023.
