The former ‘SNL‘ star Pete Davidson will have to set the record straight by doing community service for 50 hours. The legal deal is in regard to the comedian’s car crash that happened in March. Being charged with reckless driving, the ‘Suicide Squad‘ actor will enter an 18-month diversion program.
Recently Kim Kardashian’s former boyfriend also opened up about his mental health issues. He shared his mental health diagnosis and is hoping to take treatment soon. The ‘Big Time Adolescence’ actor will now have to stir his time to community service for the New York Fire Department.
Pete Davidson Charged With Reckless Driving
It was in March that comedian Pete Davidson drove his Mercedes-Benz into a house on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Subsequently, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. There was destruction of property but no one was hurt in the accident.
Through the 18-month diversion program, the star has to pay restitution and do 50-hour community service. He has to visit a morgue to see the consequences of reckless driving and spend 12 hours in traffic school. The actor informed that he would be doing community service at the New York Fire Department, according to TMZ. The fire department welcomed the late New York City firefighter’s son to complete his service there.

Pete Davidson’s Upcoming Projects
The star Pete Davidson will be free of any criminal offense once he completes his community service. The ‘Bupkis’ star joined ‘Saturday Night Live‘ back in 2014, after trying his hand at stand-up comedy. His latest project ‘Bupkis‘ is streaming online.
While in New York, the artist would be observing various projects he had earlier invested in. Pete along with Colin Jost had invested in an old ferry the year before. Though no clear intentions of how the duo wants to turn it into an arts and entertainment venue have been discussed.
