Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex had withdrawn from having dinner with King Charles III and his brother the Prince of Wales at Balmoral. Reports suggest that this is because the new monarch “banned” Meghan Markle from joining the grieving Royal Family on the day the Queen Elizabeth II died.
It was expected by the public and all of the media that following Charles’ ascension to the throne, Markle would be expelled from the Royal Family as a whole. However, it was also very much expected by everyone that Prince Harry would stick by her no matter what.

Why Didn’t Prince Harry Attend The Dinner With King Charles III?
Duke of Sussex’s father, allegedly phoned his youngest son and told him it was “not appropriate” for the former ‘Suits’ actress to be there. It was reported that Harry tried relentlessly to persuade his father to allow Meghan to come with him. However, we all know how it turned out.
Angry with the turnaround event, Harry refused to have dinner with Charles, William, and Queen Consort Camilla. He preferred to eat with the Duke of York and the Earl and Countess of Wessex before leaving early the next morning.

Why Did Harry Miss A Flight To London?
In his attempt to persuade his father to allow Meghan to come with him, Harry missed a flight. The flight Harry was supposed to be in, carried William and their uncles Andrew and Edward to Scotland. “Harry was so busy trying to get Meghan to Balmoral and rowing with his family that he missed the flight. Charles has an open invitation for Harry to dine with him whenever he is in the country,” The Sun reported.
Prince Harry was the first member of the Royal Family to leave. He boarded an early British Airways flight from Aberdeen. After reaching Aberdeen airport at 9.20 am, he then boarded a flight to London leaving at 10 am.
