She also gave a glimpse behind the scenes of the making of her Schiaparelli pearl outfit. During the episode, she remembered that when she made her debut on the Met Gala carpet in 2013, Robin Williams trolling her brought tears to her eyes.

In the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians’, Kim Kardashian sat down with North West and Kourtney’s ex, Scott Disick, to go down memory lane. During the episode, North West gave commentary on Kim’s outfits.
One of the outfits was Kim Kardashian’s debut Met Gala look by Givenchy from 2013. When Kim asked North about her opinion, she said, “I really don’t like that one.” To this, Scott said, “Nobody liked that one.” Kim was heavily trolled for the outfit, but more than anyone criticizing, Kim was very sad after the late actor Robin Williams made fun of her.

Robin Williams took to Twitter to troll Kim Kardashian by posting a picture of Mrs. Doubtfire and Kim’s look and captioning, “I think I wore it better.”
The SKIMS owner revealed that she was sobbing throughout the trip home after she was trolled for her outfit. Kim Kardashian said, “I cried when I got home but now I love it.”

North West Became A Fashion Police For Her Mother
It was not just Robin Williams who trolled Kim Kardashian for her Met Gala look, but her daughter, North West, also took jibes at her Met Gala 2023 look. At first, during the outfit trial with Schiaparelli designer Daniel Roseberry, North criticized the pearls. She said, “There’s way too much gap in the pearls. It looks like she’s a Hawaiian girl with her dress all ripped.”
North West even called the pearls fake. Kim countered her, saying, “No, no. I think you’re wrong here. These are very expensive, real pearls. We’re not going for flapper girl—we’re going for vintage, authentic pearl girly.” She also felt that the designer outfit looked like it was from a dollar store.
