Martha Stewart Says Ryan Reynolds Is “Not So Funny” In Real Life, His Response Is Anything But Serious

One of Hollywood’s finest, Ryan Reynolds has often been lauded as one of the most hilarious men of Hollywood, as many compare him to his on-screen counterpart, Deadpool, who is known for tickling the right funnybone.

Martha Stewart, however, clarified otherwise as the American socialite spoke about Reynolds, who happens to be her neighbor in real life. Here’s what Stewart claims Reynolds is like in real life, and how the latter responded to her statement.

Ryan Reynolds might not be the funniest man of the year after all, as Martha Stewart clarifies that the actor is hardly hilarious in real life, adding that he is in fact, quite serious.

Stewart, while she was on Bilt Rewards’ November Rent Free game show, was asked to guess who the respondents voted as the most fun guy to hang out with. She wrongly guessed Snoop Dogg and was taken aback when it turned out the voters chose Ryan Reynolds.

The socialite stated, “He’s probably on the list just ’cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face. And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.” She then added that she would “take Ryan off [the list], and I would put in somebody else”. When asked who she would put instead of Ryan, she promptly replied George Clooney.

Stewart also added that Reynolds is “a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again. I’m going to get in trouble. He’s my neighbor.”

Responding to Martha Stewart’s claims on him not being funny, Ryan Reynolds made an attempt to crack a joke on Stewart’s comment and wrote on X, “I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so.”

The actor and the lifestyle guru happen to be neighbors in Bedford, New York.
