Selena Gomez is finally getting the recognition she deserves as an actress as the Disney alum just got nominated for her first ever acting nomination for an Emmy, thanks to her stellar role in ‘Only Murders In The Building’.
The show is leading the Emmy nominations as it managed to pick several nominations, including Best Actor awards for both the leads and more.

Selena Gomez Finally Receives Her First Emmy Nomination
The actress has previously been nominated for an Emmy as one of the producers of the film. Many have spoken up about how it’s unfair that Selena Gomez didn’t get nominated. Well, better late than ever because she finally got one. She wrote she is “honored and insanely grateful” about the nomination on Instagram.
The actress got a nod for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Mabel Mora, a quick-witted, dry humor-filled younger person living in the building who finds friends in Martin Short and Steve Martin’s characters. Upon release, Gomez received a lot of praise for her fashion sense in the film and the chemistry between the trio. Fans are certainly hoping to see them at the award show now!
Martin Short and Steve Martin also received nominations for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. Supporting actors Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd received nominations as well.

We will soon be clearing out our schedules for Tuesdays again as the fourth season of the comedy series is set to drop very soon. Another murder – this time of Sazz, Steve Martin’s character Charles’ body double will form the backdrop of the story as the trio attempts to solve it.
The show’s success has ensured that there will be a few more seasons before it’s over. Fans are very excited to watch the power trio come back to life.
