The day also marks the 25th anniversary of her album ‘Dónde Están Los Ladrones’. The ‘Whenever, Wherever’ singer is the No. 1 most streamed female Latin artist in Spotify’s history.
“The role that my fans have played in my career is impossible to quantify. They’ve known how to understand me better than anybody, and they’ve carried me to where I am today with their unwavering support,” the superstar thanked her fans for their love and support. The 46-year-old also expressed her gratitude to Columbia for inspiring her through its culture, food, sounds, and stories. She also urged more women to join the industry side as producers and engineers than just the artist’s side

MTV VMA Video Vanguard Award Goes To Shakira
