Shakira has issued a letter to her fans assuring them that she is in good health. After it was reported that she was seen commuting in an ambulance in Spain.
The pop singer, who is 45 years old, revealed the news about her father’s collapse on Twitter, where she also said that he had been taken to the hospital in an ambulance. She went on to say that her father is undergoing treatment in the hospital at the moment.

The ‘Waka Waka’ fame wrote, “Guys, I’m getting a lot of messages of concern that I was seen in an ambulance in Barcelona recently. I just wanted to let you know that these photos are from last weekend (the 28th) when my dad, unfortunately, had a bad fall and I accompanied him in an ambulance to the hospital where he is recovering now. Please do send all your best wishes his way and thank you all as always for all your love and support.”
Along with the statement, a photo of her giving her father a kiss on the cheek as he had a large white bandage over his right eye and a number of bruises on his face, was also uploaded. The post was flooded with messages of support and best wishes for her father from people all around the world.
This week, the singer best known for her hit song “Hips Don’t Lie” was all over the internet when many news outlets reported on her separation from the soccer player Gerard Piqué.
The news was accompanied by rumors that the singer had been admitted to the hospital, with terms such as “panic attack” being discussed. This situation grew even more precarious when pictures of the singer being transported to the hospital in an ambulance went viral on the internet.
