After falling in love during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, there are hints that the relationship between Gerard Piqué and Shakira is fraying. The couple never got married. Despite that, they have two children, Milan and Sasha, from their 12-year relationship.
However, it appears that things between the two aren’t exactly idyllic right now. We say so because Piqué has returned to his bachelor’s house in Calle Muntaner in Barcelona.

In her latest song, ‘Te Felicito’, the singer is seen throwing hints at her failing relationship. Piqué has been spotted visiting and exiting the building by many neighbors during the previous week. He’s also claimed to have been out enjoying the nightlife in Barcelona with his friend Riqui Puig and his gang.
The lyrics performed by the ‘Waka Waka‘ singer in her recent song, ‘Te Felicito‘ with Rauw Alejandro are another hint of discord in their relationship. Both Shakira and Piqué have avoided posting anything on their social media sites in recent months, which is really a very bad sign.

According to rumors, Piqué’s absence from the couple’s house is because of Shakira catching him with another lady. According to El Periodico, this is why Piqué and Shakira have decided to split up for the time being, while also implying that the Barcelona defender’s partying has gotten out of hand. While the journalist’s assertions may or may not be true, the following is what is claimed:
“That is why she(Shakira) would have made the decision to separate. That is so. It has happened. That is why there is distance. Perhaps there is nothing left, but that [infidelity] has passed”

Piqué and his friend have been photographed partying until two or three a.m., surrounded by other ladies. Recently, he has also not been very much visible on Shakira’s social media accounts. The singer used to upload images of the two on a regular basis, but the last time she did so was in March.
The singer is presently putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming album. Plus, she is also a judge on Nick Jonas and Liza Koshy’s dance reality program, ‘Dancing With Myself’.
