Jennifer Lopez Shares Her Wedding Experience
Now that one of the most talked about weddings of the year has ended, the On The Floor singer has taken the time to reflect on her relationship with Ben Affleck.
In her newsletter On the JLo, the pop star said that Ben quoted one of her favorite lines from his 2016 film ‘Live by Night’, “This is heaven. Right here. We’re in it now.”
“I thought… how perfect,” she wrote. Lopez had walked down the aisle to Marc Cohn’s True Companion, which she called the “perfect wedding love song”. “Though Ben didn’t know, I asked Marc to surprise him by singing it at our wedding and he was lovely and generous to come,” she shared.
She continued, “The twenty years between those dreams of youth and the adult world of love and family we embraced that day, brought more to this marriage than either of us ever could have imagined”.
Jennifer also talked about the children she and Ben have. “We weren’t only marrying one another; we were marrying these children into a new family. They were the only people we asked to stand up for us in our wedding party. To our great honor and joy, each one did.”
