Joe Jonas took to TikTok on Wednesday to post a video of his latest song, with a suggestive caption stating “even baddies get saddies.” In the video, the 34-year-old singer can be seen cycling down a path flanked by fields, mouthing the words to the contemplative song.
The lyrics of the song start on an encouraging note but take a turn as it continues. “Come on, Joe, you got so much more to be grateful for,” the initial lyrics say. However, the song soon delves into his emotional turmoil with lines like, “Stop being sad because you’re making the room uncomfortable/OK I get it/I know you’re feeling so miserable/Sometimes I wish I had powers to be invisible.”

He continues, “Even baddies get saddies and that’s the hardest truth/Called your mommy and daddy, they don’t know what to do.” With this new release, many have contended that Jonas is seemingly navigating his “sad boy summer.”

Though Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s divorce has been a matter of headlines, the singer has largely kept quiet about his separation from Turner. They share two daughters Willa and Delphine, whose custody has been a matter of legal battle between the two.
After filing for divorce in September 2023, Jonas and the ‘Game of Thrones‘ actress issued a joint statement on Instagram. “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” it read.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
The same week, Jonas also addressed the split at a Jonas Brothers concert in Los Angeles, right before he performed ‘Hesitate’, a song he wrote for Turner. “It’s been a crazy week,” he remarked. “I just want to say, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. OK? Thank you, everyone, for the love and support to me and my family. I love you guys,” he said.
Joe Jonas is currently romantically linked with model Stormi Bree, though they have not officially confirmed their relationship. Turner, meanwhile, has moved on with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson.
