Spending the next seven months in costume and heavy makeup has even changed what his young daughter sees every time they FaceTime, leading to a sweet family moment that the actor’s wife, Suki Waterhouse, has now shared with fans.
Robert Pattinson Gets A New Nickname From His Daughter
During an appearance in And The Writer Is…, Robert Pattinson’s wife, Suki Waterhouse, revealed that his Batman transformation has become so normal at home that his daughter now sees it as part of who he is. As the actor spends the next seven months filming ‘The Batman: Part II‘, he often catches up with his family over FaceTime while still wearing his dramatic on-screen makeup.
Sharing the adorable family moment, she explained, “She’s on FaceTime with her dad, who today was covered in blood with huge black circles around his eyes… She calls him ‘Daddy Batman’ now cause he’s always dressed up like that, for the next 7 months… Whenever he’s on FaceTime.”
The sweet update comes just months after Pattinson reflected on how much becoming a father has changed him. Earlier this year, the actor admitted that parenthood made him calmer and gave him a completely different outlook on life. “I’m a little more relaxed about a lot of different things,” he said. Then added that his daughter also gave him “tons of energy” when she was born.
Fatherhood Has Completely Changed Robert Pattinson’s Life
Pattinson has been open about how different his life looks now compared to a few years ago. Before becoming a father, he joked that he would work for a few months and then spend the rest of the year looking for the next party.

His daughter has also grown up alongside her parents’ busy careers. Pattinson revealed that she has already traveled to countless places thanks to his film shoots and Suki Waterhouse’s music tours. “Suki’s been on tour a couple of times,” he said. He added, “I mean, my daughter’s been to way more places than…. I mean, it’s insane.“
The actor went on to list some of her adventures. He said, “She’s come to every single set, already done Mardi Gras,” before adding, “And what else? Just in Boston for ages.” Whether he is filming on location or traveling for work, Pattinson’s daughter has already experienced a lifestyle that few toddlers ever do.
