Suki Waterhouse has spent the last few years building a life in the US alongside fiancé Robert Pattinson, but the singer and actress has now revealed that she does not see America as her permanent home.
While raising their young daughter and balancing busy careers, Suki admitted she already has a clear picture of where she wants her family to be in the future.
Suki Waterhouse Says She Wants To Return To London
Waterhouse shared that she eventually plans to move back to the UK after several years of living in the United States with Robert Pattinson. Speaking about her long-term plans, the actress explained that London has always felt like home.
“I know I will return to London at some point and probably end up living somewhere near where I grew up,” said Suki, who was raised in Chiswick. She shares a two-year-old daughter with Robert, who also grew up in west London. Looking ahead, she admitted she can already imagine settling down near one of the city’s most famous landmarks.
Suki reflected on the current stage of her life and acknowledged that it will not last forever. “I’m aware that the season of life I’m in right now is fleeting,” she said.
“Like, you’ve got a young baby; you’re able to move around a lot. Both me and my partner have a lot going on in our lives. But I look towards the future, knowing this moment’s fleeting, and think I’ll go back and live by the River Thames.”
Marriage Rumours Continue To Follow The Couple
Suki and Robert became engaged in late 2023 and welcomed their first child, a daughter, in March 2024. Although they have never officially confirmed getting married, speculation about their relationship status has continued throughout the past year.

Earlier this year, Robert appeared to add fuel to those rumours while promoting his film ‘The Drama‘ alongside Zendaya. During an interview, both stars were asked about the biggest secret they had ever kept.
Robert, who attended the event with Suki, responded, “It’s the same one that you have“. Zendaya, who was also facing rumors about secretly marrying Tom Holland at the time, replied, “Nothing that comes to mind.”
Since then, Tom Holland and Zendaya have confirmed that they secretly tied the knot while promoting ‘The Odyssey‘. Robert and Suki, however, have remained silent about their own relationship status.
Marriage rumors grew even stronger in January 2025 when Sharon Stone referred to Robert as Suki’s “husband” during the American Heart Association Red Dress Collection Concert. Suki chose not to address the comment publicly. A source previously shared, “They both want to be married. It’s important for them.”
