She was hanging with her BFF Selena Gomez, and Taylor danced with her recent collaborator, Ice Spice. The ‘folklore’ also danced her heart out. However, while she was being carefree, Taylor Swift lost her $12,000 ring’s diamond.

Taylor Swift was bejeweled at the 2023 MTV VMAs. Swift wore a comfortable fit, unlike last year’s Oscar de la Renta diamond piece. She opted for an asymmetrical Versace gown with shining accessories. Reportedly, Taylor Swift wore jewelry worth $160,000, which included Joseph Saidan & Sons’ Van Cleef & Arpels ring’s diamond, which was worth $12,000.
In a video, Taylor Swift was seen distressed while she spoke to a staff member to inquire about the diamond. She even bent down to search for it, but she did not find it. Finally, when she went to the stage to collect the ‘Video of the Year’ award for ‘Anti-Hero,’ the ring was nowhere to be seen on her finger.

Despite losing a precious piece of jewelry, Taylor Swift had lots of things to celebrate during the MTV VMAs 2023. During the night, Swift swept nine awards out of 11. She won awards in coveted categories like ‘Artist of the Year’, ‘Album of the Year,’ and most importantly, ‘Video of the Year’. Swift is the only artist in VMA history to win ‘Video of the Year’ three times.
During Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, she said, “I love making pop music, I love making pop music videos, I also love making country, and I love slinking around different genres, and the only reason I’m allowed to do that is because you, the fans, gave me the opportunity to do this.”
Taylor continued, “One big adventure, and it’s all so much to challenge myself to make music that’s different than what I made last, and I just love you for it. But I really love making pop music, so thank you so, so, so much.”
