Although Dwayne Johnson was never involved in any controversy over the years, he was criticized by the public once after he shared an Instagram post stating that an army tank had been named after him. The post was so controversial that a bunch of his followers unfollowed him on social media and it happened after the American Tank Division revealed a new tank.
Johnson was impressed by the honor and that’s why he shared the controversial post on Instagram where he wrote, “I’m sending a salute of respect & gratitude to the Blackhawk Squadron 🇺🇸 1st Armored Division for the honor of naming their tank (the most advanced in the world) Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Heavy duty, bad ass, sexy AF and built to take care of business.” He ended the caption by thanking them for their service.
The post received a mixed reaction where a few praised him but the others preferred not to support him, leading to the loss of a few followers on Instagram.

Dwayne Johnson is a former wrestler who becomes an actor and film producer and his full name is Dwayne Douglas Johnson. He made his acting debut in 1999 by playing his own father in an episode of ‘That ’70s Show‘. His other television shows include ‘Star Trek: Voyager‘, ‘The Titan Games’, Behind the Attraction‘, and more.
