All About Timothée Chalamet’s Sister Pauline Chalamet
Pauline Chalamet is Timothee Chalamet‘s elder sister who is 30 years old. Having been born to Marc Chalamet and Nicole Flender, the siblings have an influential family. This is because Marc is a real estate broker and also a UNICEF editor. He is also a dancer and that was something he passed on to his daughter. Tim and Pauline’s mother was a Broadway actress and dancer.
Pauline was born in 1992 in New York City only. Since childhood, she wanted to be a dancer and also attended dancing classes. She went to a Ballet school and gave her first professional performance on Broadway when she was just ten years old in the production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream‘. It appeared that she would spend the rest of her life performing ballet, but then she had an accident while she was riding, which wrecked her hopes of becoming a ballet dancer. It was a life-altering accident for Pauline. So, she opted for drama.
She completed her double majors in political science and drama as she was unsure of her career path. Being a master of her own thoughts, Pauline also started writing and wrote some short films. All of this was done by her to pay her student loans. As time passed, Pauline landed some small roles and commenced her acting career. As a good brother, Timothee has always supported her endeavors.

Pauline Chalamet’s Acting Career
Pauline Chalamet got her start in the acting world in 1999 when she had a small role in an episode of the long-running daytime soap opera ‘One Life to Live‘. After 10 years, she appeared in an episode of ‘Royal Pains‘. Even though she had performed in many short films, her big break came when Judd Apatow approached her to appear in ‘The King of Staten Island.’
‘The Office‘ star Mindy Kaling, who has produced shows like ‘The Mindy Project‘, contacted Pauline Chalamet for a project called ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls.’ This was shortly after she made her feature film debut in ‘The King of State Island‘. Kaling thought Pauline was a great fit for the character of Kimberly Finkle, the valedictorian of her Arizona public high school’s incoming freshmen class. Finkle is a bright young lady who also happens to be thoughtful and driven.
Pauline Chalamet also appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ show earlier this year, where she and guest presenter Julie Bowen of ‘Modern Family‘ discussed the series. She also stated how comfortable she was being nude while filming. Julie reasoned that since Pauline was “naked a lot” throughout their college years, it was pretty natural to her.
