Tom Brady Regrets Doing Netflix Roast
With two million views on its first night alone, Tom Brady’s roast became a huge sensation on Netflix. However, the football icon later claimed he would never do it again because of the impact it had on his family.
“I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun. I didn’t like the way that it affected my kids,” Brady said on The Pivot Podcast. He called the experience “bittersweet,” adding, “I wouldn’t do that again because of the way that it affected actually the people that I care about the most in the world.”
With his former girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, Brady has a 16-year-old son named Jack. He also has two other children with Gisele Bündchen: 11-year-old Vivian and 14-year-old Benjamin.
He also added that he aims to be a better parent in hindsight, saying “I’m going to be a better parent as I go forward because of it. At the same time, I’m happy everyone who was there had a lot of fun.”

On April 28, 2024, Tom Brady, in the greatest roast of all time, appeared live on Netflix for three hours, drawing in two million people for a total of 6.2 hours watched that day. Online, videos from the roast went extremely viral as the Super Bowl champion’s friends, including Jeff Ross, Kim Kardashian, Kevin Hart, and Nikki Glaser, roasted him.
It is unknown how much the footballer got out of the roast, but it’s safe to assume that the number is in the millions. However, he was credited along with Casey Patterson, Jeff Ross, Kevin Hart, and Jeff Clanagan as an executive producer of The Greatest Roast of All Time.
With 13.8 million views this week, The Roast of Tom Brady has garnered 18.6 million views since its premiere on May 5 as a part of the Netflix is a Joke Fest live event. Additionally, it is currently the most popular English show on the streaming site.
