Tom Cruise Is Estranged To His Daughter Suri
Tom Cruise has been married three times in his life. One of them was with actress Katie Holmes between 2006 to 2012. They share a daughter together, Suri Cruise, who is now 16 years old.
According to a Page Six report, the ‘Mission Impossible‘ actor has not seen his daughter for a long time and is not a part of her life. In 2011, Cruise and Holmes parted ways after which the actor drifted apart with Suri.
In his defamation lawsuit against Bauer Media, Cruise admitted that he had not seen his daughter for three months. Later, Cruise admitted that Holmes did not want to involve herself or Suri in Scientology and it was one of the reasons for their divorce.

Cruise And Katie Holmes Parted Ways Because Of Scientology
Cruise is a well-known advocate of the Church of Scientology and often promotes its anti-psychiatric beliefs. During a deposition of the suit, he was asked if Holmes left him “in part to protect Suri from Scientology,” the actor responded, “That was one of the assertions, yes.”
According to a report, the Church has played a part in further drifting Cruise from his daughter because its members are forbidden from aligning with nonbelievers of Scientology.
Holmes, meanwhile, has been trying to give her a normal life. “My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now“, she said. “It’s very important that I’m present and she has a stable, innocent childhood.”
