Now, three months after going down on one knee, Hiddleston has confirmed his engagement to Zawe Ashton. He also gushed about his ladylove.

Tom Hiddleston And Zawe Ashton Are Engaged!
When they were spotted together at the 2022 BAFTA Awards in March, Hiddleston, 41, prompted rumors that he had proposed to the actress, 37. Ashton was also seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand in a photo clicked at a London event later.
While neither party addressed their relationship status at the time, many publications revealed that they were engaged. Now, Hiddleston has confirmed his engagement to Los Angeles Times. He said, “I’m very happy.”
Hiddleston and Ashton have been dating since 2019, but they didn’t make their red carpet debut until September 2021. At the time, the stars looked stunning at the Tony Awards, with Hiddleston wearing a blue suit and his companion wearing a crimson gown. They posed for photos on the occasion, with their arms around each other.
The ‘Loki’ actor, who has kept his relationship with Ashton pretty discreet, previously dated actress Susannah Fielding from 2008 to 2011, as well as Taylor Swift in 2016. In a February 2017 interview, the Golden Globe winner explained that his brief connection with Swift was “of course… real,” adding, “She’s generous, kind, and lovely, and we had the best time.”
Hiddleston stated that he wants to have a “regular” relationship with the ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ singer, who is now dating English actor Joe Alwyn. He remarked at the time, “I only know the woman I met. A relationship always takes work. A relationship in the limelight takes work.”
