Scarlett Johansson Shares Her Fitness Regime For ‘Avengers: Endgame’
Along with Captain America and Iron Man, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ marked the end of Scarlett Johansson’s journey as Black Widow. Although it was the last hurrah with the original Avenger team, Johansson gave her sweat and blood for the role. The ‘Lucy’ actress was involved in integrated foundational strength training. She had to do yoga, gymnastics, Olympic weight lifting, and plyometrics. The training did not stop here, Johansson also had to include military poses, medicine ball throwing, deadlifts, pull-ups, pistols, kettlebell swings, and bear crawling in her workout regime.
This intense training was not enough, Scarlett Johansson also had to starve herself for 12 hours and sometimes for 14-15 hours as well. When Johannsson did not have to starve, she only ate vegan food, smaller meals that included fresh fruits, salad, and oatmeal.
