Elon Musk is someone who needs no introduction. However, there has been a bit of confusion as well as curiosity regarding his ethnicity. He was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa.
Maye Musk, his mother was born in Saskatchewan, Canada and she was raised in South Africa. His father Errol Musk was also born in Pretoria. Elon has British and Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry.
He did his schooling in South Africa until 1988 and moved to Canada to live with his cousins. He eventually got enrolled at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. In 1992, Musk transferred to the University of Pennsylvania to finish his studies.

Musk’s Siblings
Musk has two siblings, a younger brother, Kimbal, and a younger sister, Tosca Musk. Kimbal is a restaurateur, businessperson, and chef; he owns The Kitchen Restaurant Group of restaurants.
He is also one of the board members of two of Elon’s companies, Tesla Inc. and SpaceX. Tosca, on the other hand, is a filmmaker, producer, and entrepreneur. She has made films like ‘Driven’, ‘Matchmaker’s Playbook, and ‘Tiki Bar TV’ (web series).
She is also one of the co-founders of Passionflix, which is a streaming service platform. Her first directorial feature film called ‘Puzzled‘ was produced by Elon under Musk Entertainment.
