Zack Snyder’s filmography is ever-expanding, with the ‘Rebel Moon’ added to it. With the sci-fi films, Snyder aims to create his own universe, serving as an homage to the ‘Star Wars’ franchise. After ‘Rebel Moon’ could not become a part of the mammoth franchise, Netflix took the project under its wings, and the first part, ‘Rebel Moon Part One—A Child of Fire’, is streaming on Netflix.
Zack Snyder has broken through the DC Universe after clashes due to creative differences with the studio producers. However, the director has given some memorable films in the DCEU, including ‘Man of Steel’, which made Henry Cavill a household name. Christopher Nolan was one of the producers of the film, and now Nolan has praised Snyder for inspiring the superhero sci-fi films of our time.

Zack Wants ‘Rebel Moon’ Part Two To Be Like Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’
Zack Snyder, in recent interviews, has revealed the inspirations that helped to build the ‘Rebel Moon’ world. The foremost inspiration was ‘Star Wars’, and other films like ‘Blue Velvet’, ‘Blade Runner’, and others helped the director build the sci-fi world. In an interview, ‘Rebel Moon’ star Ed Skrein, who plays the antagonist, Regent Belisarius, said that Snyder wants to make the second part of the Netflix film feel like ‘Dunkirk’.
