The artist rose to fame as he played the title role in the Broadway musical, ‘SpongeBob SquarePants‘. The Vassar College graduate was nominated for the Tony Awards for this role in 2018.
The 31-year-old actor will be playing the role of Boq, the love interest of Nessarose, Elphaba’s sister. While the ‘Thank you, Next’ singer would be playing the role of Glinda in the movie adaptation. The movie began shooting last year and is set to be released in 2024.
