Zac Efron is all set to bring us his next movie, ‘The Iron Claw‘, where he plays the role of Pro-Wrestling Champion Kevin Von Erich. In the release of recent photographs, Zac Efron can be seen totally swelled and jacked up, in preparation for the wrestler’s biopic.
The ‘High School Musical‘ star’s behind-the-scene shots were shared by The Daily Mail. In the pictures, Efron can be seen wearing a towel with flip-flops and showing his completely ripped and tanned body. But who exactly is Kevin Von Erich? Let us know more about him.

Who Is Kevin Von Erich?
Kevin Ross Adkisson, popularly known by his stage or “ring” name Kevin Von Erich, is a retired professional wrestler. He belonged to the famous wrestling family, the Von Erichs. Kevin began wrestling in 1976 when he was just 19 years old. Coming from a family of wrestlers, he was mostly seen wrestling for his father’s promotion called, World Class Championship Wrestling. And he quickly went on to become one of its biggest stars.
One thing which is also what Kevin was highly popular for, was fighting barefoot, in a sport where it was highly unusual. Kevin was known for going for his fights barefoot, where almost all top wrestlers wear high-topped boots. However, he tells us that it was actually an accident as, during one of his matches, someone hid his boots as a joke resulting in him going barefoot. And it became popular as World Class announcers started calling him “The Barefoot Boy”.
Now, Zac Efron is ready to play the mighty wrestler, Von Erich. And, he surely looks the part.

Kevin Von Erich: Early Life
Kevin Von Erich was born on May 15, 1957. He began wrestling at the age of 19, in his father’s company. He has been married to his wife Pam Adkisson and the couple currently live in Hawaii, running a family investment business together.
Before beginning his career in wrestling, Kevin also played football at North Texas State University. However, an injury led to the crushing of his dream of being a professional footballer.
Kevin was the son of Pro-wrestler Fritz Von Erich. He had five siblings, four of whom were also in the wrestling career. Presently, Kevin is the last surviving son among all the five brothers.
