In an interview with People, she revealed that she and her husband Julius had tried to conceive for years but unfortunately were unable to do so. They then turned to adoption and were matched with Genesis. Genesis’ adoption was like a dream finally being fulfilled for Davis and her husband and they again adopted a boy Julius in 2020.

Genesis Tennon’s Career
Genesis, at just the young age of eight, became the executive producer for a short film, ‘A Kids Story‘, making her the youngest executive producer in history. The movie was directed by Bobby Yan and addressed several issues including bullying that most children face in school. Her involvement was an important factor in the film’s success and she has been lauded for her maturity and professionalism on set.
