Who Is Lamar Odom?
Former NBA player Lamar Joseph Odom was born in the United States. He won two titles with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in 2009 and 2010. He was voted NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2011.
His career started when in the 1999 NBA draught, Odom was picked by the Los Angeles Clippers. He was the fourth overall choice. The next year he made the NBA All-Rookie Team. However, during his four years with the Clippers, he was suspended twice for breaking the NBA’s anti-drug policy. After that, he became a restricted free agency and signed with the Miami Heat. He then joined Los Angeles Lakers, and later Dallas Mavericks. Odom’s professional success fell after the relocation.
After a brief stint in Spain in 2014, he was transferred back to the Clippers. Odom was a member of the United States national basketball team that won bronze at the 2004 Olympics. Additionally, he was also there when the team won the gold in the 2010 FIBA World Championship. Throughout his marriage with Khloe, Odom was a regular on the Kardashians’ reality program.

Why Did Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom Get Divorced?
Khloe Kardashian met Lamar Odom at Lakers’ Teammates Artest. After a month of dating Lamar, the duo decided to marry. Lamar already had two children from his previous marriage. In 2009, the couple tied the knot and their wedding was also featured on the Kardashian show. Khloe even changed her last name. In 2011, their show named ‘Lamar and Khloe‘ was also aired and featured Khloe’s step-children. However, it was reported that Lamar was not really into the show and hence it was canceled only after two seasons.
Lamar’s 2013 DUI conviction revealed fissures in their relationship. The New York native was sentenced to three years of probation. He checked out of treatment after one day. Khloe and Lamar have verified infidelity suspicions during their marriage. It was confirmed that Lamar cheated on Khloe during their marriage. “Lamar made me feel like a princess and the only one,” the American entrepreneur told Howard Stern in 2016. She also stated that she never suspected dishonesty until his DUI. She added, “It’s humiliating, but he cheated on me throughout much of our marriage and I didn’t know.”
Odom regrets his adultery: “It was the first time I cheated on Khloé. I’d rewind and never let that happen.” Khloé divorced Lamar in 2013. In 2015, the athlete was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel after a near-fatal overdose. To help him in his recovery, Khloe took back the divorce application. However, after a year, the divorce was finalized in 2016. Lamar has also stated how Khloe was an angel in taking care of him.
