What Is ‘Transformers’ Director Accused Of?
Michael Bay has been accused of animal cruelty. The ‘Transformers’ filmmaker is said to have killed a honing pigeon during the production of his 2019 Netflix film ‘6 Underground‘ starring Ryan Reynolds, Mélanie Laurent, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Adria Arjona, Corey Hawkins, Ben Hardy, and Dave Franco.
It is said that the honing pigeon for the movie ‘6 Underground’ met its demise from a dolly during a middle of a take. Michael Bay’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, has responded to the reports regarding the bird killing as baseless, saying, “Those statements are simply wrong; they are also harmful.“

How Is ‘Transformers’ Director Michael Bay Fighting Back?
Media outlet The Wrap published a report saying that Bay has been accused or “charged” with “killing a pigeon” in connection with the film he directed and is currently facing charges in Italy.
Mathew Rosengart, Michael Bay’s attorney at present, has written a legal letter to The Wrap, demanding a retraction. On the other hand, Michael Bay leaves no stone unturned in clearing his name and has repeatedly denied the claims.
“I am a well-known animal lover and major animal activist,” Bay spoke in his previous statement to The Wrap, “No animal involved in the production was injured or harmed. Or on any other production, I’ve worked on in the past 30 years.”
This incident is still an ongoing court case.
