Ryan Gosling Talks About ‘Barbie’
On Tuesday at the CinemaCon, the team of ‘Barbie‘, including Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie, and Greta Gerwig released a several-minute-long unseen footage of the film in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gosling was asked about how he channeled his inner Ken for the role. “I have to be honest, I had up until this point, I only knew Ken from afar. I didn’t know Ken from within,” he said.
He continued, “If I’m being really honest, I doubted my Ken-ergy. I didn’t see it. Margot and Greta, I feel like they conjured this out of me somewhere.” Gosling said that he started bleaching his hair, shaving his legs, and “wearing bespoke neon outfits and rollerblading down Venice Beach.”

‘Barbie’ Will Release In July
The film is the first-ever live-action attempt to tell the story of the Mattel dolls. Earlier, there have been several animated direct-to-video television flicks. Robbie, who plays the titular role, is also one of the producers.
It will be released theatrically on July 21, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures. Warner Bros. Discovery chief David Zaslav, who was also there at the presentation, praised both Margot and Greta.
At the CinemaCon, trailers and first looks of various films were released. These include ‘Dune: Part Two’, ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’, ‘Wonka’, ‘The Nun 2’, ‘Blue Beetle’ and ‘The Color Purple.’
