When it comes to a poker face, I guess we have to give the award to Victoria Beckham instead of Lady Gaga. I bet you cannot imagine her smiling in your head when you think about it. Beckham is known to maintain a neutral face in the public for many years.
Being married to David Beckham, being a Posh spice, and having multiple successful businesses do seem enough to make a person feel happy at all times. So why does Victoria choose not to smile when in public?
Why Victoria Beckham Doesn’t Smile
When asked about her perfect pout, Victoria said in an interview, “In the past, I’ve probably hidden behind my armor — not smiling publicly, for instance. There’s less of that now. There’s something really liberating about embracing who I am at 45 years old and owning it, feeling confident, feeling content. Doing beauty has really helped with that — it’s been very liberating.”
She added, “I want to spread the word that everybody should feel like the best version of themselves. To look after what you have. I want to tell people to own who they are. Yes, we — and I — have wrinkles, and that’s OK!.” We are glad that Victoria is finally accepting her emotions and is ready to express them. Can’t wait to see her smiling on the next red carpet.
