The production budget of ‘Fast X‘ is estimated to be around $340 million, which makes it the fifth-most expensive film ever made. The previous film in the franchise, ‘F9‘, cost around $200 million.

The first film in the franchise was made on a shoestring budget of $38 million. Now, the budget has ballooned to new levels. There are a lot of factors that have contributed to it.

Reasons like inflation-driven production and the high salary of its lead cast including Vin Diesel might have contributed to the budget. The film was shot during the pandemic, which required the entire team to follow protocols which resulted in more money being spent.
