Michael B. Jordan is ready for another round in the ring. He plays boxer Adonis Creed who trains with his late father Apollo’s formal rival, Rocky Balboa. The new ‘Creed III’ trailer shows Adonis being challenged by Damian Anderson, played by Jonathan Majors. Majors is a childhood friend of Adonis who has just been released from prison.
The recently dropped trailer from MGM and United Artists puts the highlight on Jordan’s ‘Donnie’ Creed. Fans cannot get enough of Jordan’s physique in the film. What You Should Know About ‘Creed III’ Trailer?
‘Creed III’ focuses more squarely on Adonis, with Rocky nowhere to be seen. Jonathan Majors plays Anderson Dame, a childhood friend of Creed’s who shared his rough upbringing but without the golden boxing royalty there to rescue him. The trailer sets the two of them on a collision course.
Adonis’ attempts to welcome Anderson into his life is met with hostility, and the only place left to sort things out is the ring. The trailer is both a great sell for the film and also a hell of a promo for the big Creed-Dame fight. Jordan and Majors are shredded beyond belief and both command their own level of charisma.
The trailer opens with Michael B. Jordan‘s Adonis Creed saying, ”I spent the last seven years of my life living out my wildest dreams. Bianca, Rocky, My dad. This was built on their shoulders.” It also briefly depicts several pivotal scenes from the film and establishes the plot while giving glimpses of Creed’s relationships with various people.

Although many fans expressed their love for the upcoming movie, some die-hard fans of the ‘Rocky‘ franchise are not happy with it. It is very much apparent that fans are disappointed about Rocky’s absence in the trailer. One user said, “Without Stallone I’m not watching.” This is the first film in the ‘Rocky’ franchise that does not feature the iconic Sylvester Stallone‘s character.
Rocky isn’t in Creed 3, and I’m not going to lie, it takes a large amount of my reasoning to want to watch the movie. I don’t need him as a main character, but his presence makes it feel like that world and puts me in the mindset of the film. Odd choice.
