It seems that trouble runs in the family, or at least that’s the unfortunate narrative when it comes to Wynonna Judd’s daughter, Grace Kelley. If you’ve been keeping up with the Judds, you might know that Wynonna isn’t just a country music legend; she’s also been navigating a stormy personal life.
Now, this isn’t the first time Kelley has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. But, let’s face it—when your mom is a famous country star, getting in trouble with the law is going to get you more than just a slap on the wrist.
Grace Kelley’s Latest Arrest
On August 3, Grace Kelley found herself behind bars once again, this time in Georgia’s Carroll County Jail. According to EW, Kelley was arrested on three misdemeanor charges: driving with a suspended or revoked license, improper use of motorcycle equipment, and, the kicker, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. Seriously, fleeing from the police?
Unfortunately for Kelley, this isn’t her first rodeo. After spending a night in jail, she was released on a $2,750 bond.
Now, let’s get one thing straight—Kelley’s brushes with the law are not a recent development. This arrest marks her second in just 4 months. Back in April, Kelley was charged with soliciting prostitution in Alabama, along with a couple of other questionable behaviors like indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations.
Yep, you read that right. According to AL.com and WSFA 12, she was allegedly “exposing her breasts and lower body” at a busy intersection. Not exactly what you’d expect from the daughter of a country music icon, but here we are.

Grace Kelley’s History Of Legal Woes
But wait, there’s more—Grace Kelley’s criminal record goes even further back. In 2016, Kelley was arrested for meth possession, which led to an eight-year jail sentence in 2018 after she violated her probation. And as if that weren’t enough, she left a court-ordered drug recovery program, making things even messier. In a twist of fate, Kelley was granted a temporary leave from jail to welcome her daughter, Kaliyah, in March 2022.
You’d think that becoming a mom would be a wake-up call, but Kelley’s legal troubles didn’t stop there. After being released from jail in December 2022, she was arrested again in May 2023 for violating a restraining order and her parole. She was held at Tennessee’s Putnam County Jail until her reported release in October 2023. And all this time, Wynonna Judd has been left to pick up the pieces, raising her granddaughter while Kelley navigates her issues.
Speaking about her granddaughter, Wynonna Judd told Us Weekly in June. “The greatest thing I can tell her is that she’s loved unconditionally. I want her to know her best is good enough,” she stated.
